This necklace is a beautiful tribute to vintage glass. A Rose Fashioned Dreams original design, in precious metal.
Twenty vintage faceted round vaseline yellow beads in 6 and 8mm size, and six 12mm fancy chevron cut modern vaseline beads make up the necklace portion. The fancy cut beads were crafted with vintage glass. One large 54x44mm vintage cameo lady pressed vaseline pendant dangles on a stunning sterling silver bail. This pendant was made in Czechoslovakia in the 1940s.
This necklace is fully sterling silver. The pins, jump rings, chain, and closures are all solid sterling silver. There is one hypoallergenic hallmarked coin dangling from the adjustable chain, all other portions of metal on this necklace are .925 sterling. Necklace features an extra large sterling lobster closure, for ease of wear. This necklace was carefully hand crafted.

**Uranium glass contains minute amounts of uranium dioxide, and glows under UV black light. Uranium glass level of radioactivity varies by piece, ranging from less than 1 percent to up to 25 percent by weight, but there is no recognized danger to handling or using uranium glass, according to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Uranium glass beads are even further diluted than the glass in glassware, as it is mixed with other glass to make the beads. Under 50CPM is normal levels of background radiation. Under 100CPM is not thought to have any health effects. Outside air in the United States of America averages around 25CPM. I check all my pieces with a geiger meter to make sure they clock in at safe levels.**
